Links to other Lutheran Churches

Although the Lutheran Church is the largest Protestant denomination in the world with more than 65 million members, there are only about 100,000 Lutherans in the United Kingdom. The Lutheran Church stands in the mainstream of Christian denominations and has close links with the Anglican, Roman Catholic and various Protestant churches.
In London, Lutheran services are held regularly in English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Latvian, Estonian, Polish, Cantonese, Amharic, Oromoo, Tigrinya and Swahili.
St Anne's Lutheran congregation, which worships at St Anne and St Agnes, is part of the Lutheran Church in Great Britain, a member church of the Lutheran World Federation.

People of many nationalities and religious traditions worship regularly at St Anne and St Agnes. Music, ranging from baroque to gospel and jazz, occupies an important place in the services, so continuing the treasured tradition of music and worship in the Lutheran Church.
