St Anne's is well known for its music, particularly in the Lutheran tradition of Bach, Telemann and Buxtehude. St Anne's Music Society, a registered charity which is part of St Anne's Lutheran Church, organizes more than 100 concerts and musical services at St Anne's each year. Martin Knizia, our Cantor and Director of Music is responsible for the organising of these musical events. In addition St Anne's Choir and St Anne's Jazz Choir perform regularly at the services. The Furaha Choir is part of the Swahili congregation. Interested singers of all levels of ability and experience are welcome to join the St Anne's Choir which rehearses at 10:00 each Sunday for the 11:00 Choral Eucharist (for more information please contact Martin Knizia or Martin Flower by email) and the St Anne's Jazz Choir which rehearses at 16:30 on the 4th Sunday of each month for the 18:00 Jazz Vespers. St Anne's lunchtime concerts on Mondays, and some Wednesdays and Fridays, are held at 1:10 p.m. For more information click on the links below. This month's lunchtime music programme.
