O sing unto the Lord

Music is central to the worship at St. Anne’s, and we are proud to maintain a strong and varied programme which enriches all of our services. Grounded in the Lutheran tradition which was the first to incorporate hymns for everyone to sing, and which inspired extraordinary creativity from the likes of Buxtehude, Bach and Handel, the music at St. Anne’s is supported by professional choirs and soloists, as well as visiting groups and our Parish choir. The grand Hill organ, once described as one of the ten most important in the country, floods the church with glorious sound.

On this page, you can discover more about our music programme and staff, as well as upcoming events and information and rates on the instruments at St. Anne’s, some of which are available to hire for concerts and rehearsals.
